bigboat, I talked to John the guy with the 28 on screamandfly and it has some rot in the floor and possibly the stringers, thought you should know if you call about it. The boat is about 1 1/2 hours from me in maryland.

Georges, Where did you get that faring (spelling?) for your boat, I have a 24 se with the black windshield and I would love to get rid of that and set it up like yours, mine is an 81 24 se, also how difficult was it to integrate the dash the way you have yours that is going to be my next project to remove the whole driver side dash and integrate it. soon as the motor is dialed in I will be doing all of this work

rrat, I think it will be quite a project to change an SE over to a race dash.
You will lose the cabin access that makes the SE so appealing.

The fairing I have should easily be able to replace what you have.

Storm I really like the fairing on your boat, did you glass that in or bolt on, and did jo at pantera sell that to you or was that some kinda aftermarket deal. we are trying to replace our black windshield. As far as converting to a racing dash, were not sure what we want to do, we would just like a little more room in the front seat, we were considering trying to remove the se dash and integrate the gauges and steering wheel into the bulk head somehow, we're also tossing around the Idea of making it a sitdown boat with a footpedal? thoughts on that? anyone ever tried it?
