Thanks B-Stubb

Hey Guys:

Thanks to Brian Stubblefield for sending my 26P prop to Mike at Hall's and doing a fantastic Lab job. I took Full Throttle out today in 2 footers and got 4-5 mph more out of her with nearly a full tank of gas. Boat ran higher out of the water and had a great mid-range with less RPM's. Hit 70 with all that weight. I should see 74 or so with less fuel.

Brian told me Mike knew how to make the Pantera ride higher and faster and boy was he dead on!!

Really put a smile on my face. The same as that very first day JO took me for a spin in a Pantera.

What a day I had today. Oh, it wasn't without incident though!!

Just as I was hitting 70, a lone sea gull decided to let loose and damn hit me square on the sunglasses. YECH!!!

Slowed me down a bit (he-he).

Anyway, thanks Brian for getting my prop labbed. I'm very satisfied with the results.

Ron

Storm:

Can you believe it!! Blue sky, sunny, slight chop, 78 degrees, flying through the air, and one damn lone gull craps my face.

Some say it's good luck... I say nice SHOT!!

Was real funny though.

Hope you get your engine in soon....season's coming.

Ron - that's good news that you picked up so much with that prop. You better watch out when B-Stubb says there is more that can be done to your boat....somehow I have a vision of a giant blower sticking out of the back of your boat! :D

Could you share this prop wizards with us? I'd be interested in having them work a prop for my 28.

Ron,
Congrat's on the added AZZ! Can beat the bird sh*# story though, must be Pantera's, Dom Z took out my brother in law and he took a sea gull to the head at 70 MPH, not a crap but the entire bird...... I could not stop laughing for 2 days, between the blood and the feathers. Enjoy the rest of the season down there.

Mike at halls propeler service ,Hes very unreliable and slow does it when he feels like it but he builds the fastest props I have ever seen.I can attemt to hook U up but dont hold me responsable when he does just what I told you he will do. However If a F2 Pantera had Halls props on it he wouldnt be second this year is my opinion.I know how fast he ran with Ericks props that Mike did .

I'm running a 26P Labbed Bravo I. With Brian's suggestion of adding more lift to the bow, Mike did just that and what a difference. As Brian state, it did take a while though, but it was worth the wait.

SB:

DomZ should put a notch near his name and leave room for future notches. I have a feeling he'll be pickin' them off again!!

Re: Thanks B-Stubb

Maybe you guys can carry a stamp of a gull and ink pad. That way you can just add another gull to the side of the boat!!!!

Thanks for the info B-stubb. I've heard he is great, but very slow and unreliable.

Ron - Glad you're getting more out of the boat and truly enjoying it now.

Re: Thanks B-Stubb

Mike has been doing my props for almost four years now and he knows how to make my boat go. I just got my prop back last week. I just tell Mike what I want and when I want it and he always comes through. If you need help getting in touch with him let me know. I have tried many other props that look really cool but all they do is cost me speed and fuel. I start with a 28P Bravo and then Mike does his thing.

That means a lot cause Glen can drive the #ell out of a boat and if he likes them they must be good..

Ok not a prop story but a bird story.....Out here when we go to the river we really don't have a gull problem but we do have a bat problem at dusk. Well my wife and I took this girl out with us, and she had never seen a bat in her life, when she saw the first one she was so terrified I thought she was gonna hyperventilate. The next day we were cruisin the river at dusk and what do you know, A bat nails her square in the chest at 60mph. She didn't know what it was until she looked down and there was a stunned bat flopping around in the bottom of the boat right at her feet.....needless to say we had to break out the ammonia inhalers to wake her a$$ up.
