David, are you looking for stock mercruiser power, or the good stuff?

What Storm, You wouldn't call a stock mercruiser 600sci "good stuff"

There are better goods for less $.
Thats a lot of $ for a whipple on a 525.
I'd take a Zul or MB over merc in a flash.
Both these guys offer the same 1yr warranty that merc offers too.

I'm sure his budwieser tastes can handle 50K for that motor.

That's it? you won't tell what it is then?

Look, the merc motors are good, and after the warranty expires they're good for more HP, I'd just rather have an MB600 for much less than a 525. And MB isn't using the 502.

I don't disagree, you can buy better but you can't pay more

I have seen too many times where the boat owner pays big $$ to have some 650's built only to find out that the boat only gains 2 mph over his orig merc 400s. That is usually with car motor builders though not the real marine pro's How is your engine doing?

Let's just hope JC gets this right. :)

Should be on the dyno end of next week.
I gotta see some performance gains.
Last yr I had leaky exhaust manifolds...
I saw 64.1 before she died on me.
I've attached a pic of the progress.

BTW, where has Mr Austin from England gone?

You will love it when you can cruise at 60 and have another 15-20 on the stick
