We have year 2000, 34' Phantom pleasure-boat, with twin front bucket seats, and rear bench seat. It is at Phantom now getting cosmetic upgrades, and engine tuning at Innovation Marine on the new Dart 540 EFI's. It may be for sale, we still are up in the air on selling the boat

It is still my mother's boat, I have not bought it from her. I may buy it. I need to go back to work, get some money together. I am an out of work attorney, go figure.

My father did put a hell-of-alot of work into that boat (bottom work, new engine cover, complete re-rig, new interior, gauges/bezels, plumbing, cables, ect. ) and completely redid a 2005 trailer - bunks, disc brakes, actuator. The new graphics, and the engines will in the boat soon, we took it to Phantom in October. I am eager to see how it looks, and how fast it will be with the new power.

I will keep up the Jones tradition; when we are out boating, if your boat look's like an 90 mph+ boat, I will circle back to the passing boat, roll up along side, and wave "let's go!" from about a 50 mph start to WOT drag race for a few miles. That's the way Jones's do it. Win or lose I get we always got in our races on Sunday afternoon.:ernaehrung004:

you cant do it steve! Once you hear those motors- your dads spirit will take over, and you will know. There are so many local stories about the best races that where between your family, eddie toth and Bobby W; great old timer stories!

Guys, thank you for the words of encouragement. Unless someone wants to write a check for $100K we are keeping the boat this summer.

And hopefully using it,on Sundays (as long as gas is not
$4.00+ per gallon).:ernaehrung004:
