Attachment 471999Yep, fast fast fast, corners like a coaster, Ran easily up to 94-95. We loosened it up to get to 98. I think there is more left but I'm already very happy. This boat, for those who do not know, is one bad mutha, in many respects. Tomorrow is a work day on some mechanical issues. Tues, we'll be back at it. 2 more sets of props to try in stock. Keep the pictures coming... |
You are my hero! You did this project from the ground up and have one hell of a sweet ride!!! Congrats!

Attachment 472140 Thank god we painted to engine compartment. It made it alot easier to clean up my mess I create when redoing intake gaskets that were leaking. Finished up last night late. Ready for another ride this am.

Attachment 472376Could not be happier with the craftsmanship Will puts forth on his boats, especially this one. Thanks to Smarty for hooking me up with Will Smith at Phantom Boats.

Very nice Brian! Congrats!

Boat looks great. Congrats. I like those phantoms. Im not a trailer expert so i hope this isnt a stupid question but why only a double axle trailer. You normally see a triple with boats over 30' or more. Did you use heavier duty axles to only have to use two.
|
Yes, heavier axles, but in truth I should have gone a little more. No real need for triaxle. I'm sure many have different views.
