Thanks to all the participants and spectators - we had a great event.....................especially the single line start that we had with over 30,000 hp blowing back into Watkins Glens ...........
Our PREZ looked great doing his Brave Heart run across in front of all of us before circling behind and then blasting up through the middle and leading the charge -- IT WAS AWESOME !!!!
........ but wait till next year!!!!!
The PREZ is talking Fighter Jet escort next time....... and he is serious !!!! No more prop jobs -- jet power !!!
And -- how about this one ???
Seeing how Coors Light sponsored our run this year, and fed us $2.00 beers all weekend................... how bout we get the "Twins" here
and auction them off as our Pirates Wenches .................. whoever wins that booty gets to escort them onto our Pirate Ship for a nice ride before making them "Walk-the-Plank" !!
Do you think the'll float ???????

The PREZ tells me my estimate of 30,000 hp is a tad low
--- well PREZ --- I'll get right on that for you and do those Engineering Calculations (with air temp. hp correction factors included)
You are probably right though -- 63 boats, most with twins -- ohhhhhhhh -- i know what happened !!!
I used your motor hp for my estimates -- YES it is low !!!
good catch PREZ
The real number is 48,880 hp

Ouch ! that will sting him !!

Friday Night at the Showboat. A few getting "primed" up for the big day. The Place was packed, the weather was perfect, and the boats were rolling in.
