It could be difficult, or better yet dangerous to see any 150mph passes. I'm guessing (if the paper can get it right this year) there will be ALOT of spectators. Spectators bring waves and chop the water up. It's not going to be blocked off as well as the Shootout is mainly because of the area. Very difficult to get everyone out there to idle in from way out with the limited amount of "staff".

Coming in tomorrow afternoon, towing 59 N to Jay then 20 to Ketchum, putting in at Hammerhead. The tow rig is kinda lengthy with trailer- are there any places/c-stores to buy 93 along the way or should I just pony up in AR and pay $.20 more per gallon.

I'm about empty so it'll be 120-140 gallons.

Both gas stations in Ketchum have 93 octane I believe. The price difference between AR and OK isn't what it used to be. Are you running in the PR tomorrow?

I would either fill up im arkanas or several marinas on the lake have 93. Most of the places on the road up here are Phillips and they have all changed to 91. The Marina in the back of Dripping Springs has 93 , cheapest on yhe lake, 2 weeks ago I filled up it was 2.35 a gallon if you have a boat us memebership , if not it adds .10 a gallon, buy the membership there for 15.00

2.46 at my usual c-store, it's about 2.80 on the lake here
