Just moved down south and would like dates and info on where to stay and ramp info as well.How many people does this event draw?

July 23rd is the first run, go to www.pokerrunlanier.com for more info....also the Florida Powerboat Club is doing one on August 13th, go to www.floridapowerboatclub.com for info.......Both runs are new and building their own following, The Florida Powerboat run last year had over 40 I think.... The best place to stay is probably on the Islands, the Florida Club has a deal worked out with one of them. You can also rent a houseboat, which is really fun. Everyone ends up back at Cocktail cove anyway, www.cocktail-cove.com ...so anchor the houseboat there....As for ramps, Lanier Harbor Marina has one of the largest in the area, and it is close to both of the runs, 24 hour Marine Store & Gas, check out www.lanierharbor.com for directions......good luck and welcome to our world......
