Is anyone going to be at or around Kent Narrows this coming weekend? Suppose to be some smaller class racing events, just curious if anyone will be in the area. First weekend of having the 292 out and staying out.

Insptech, never been to the Narrows for races, will you be on the Chester River side (north) or the Eastern Bay side of the naroows. 443-286-6350 It would great to meet a few others. I also heard of trip to Solomons next weekend, staying at the Holiday Inn. Thinking of cruising down with another 292 from Middle River area.

The races are held at the Kent Island Yacht club which is on the channel heading to/from Eastern Bay. There is a large "pond" behind the club that is protected by sea walls. Typically the spectator fleet will anchor on the south side of the pond between the breakwaters and barges-you'll see it when you get there. Be very careful when leaving the channel as it gets very shallow in a lot of that water-try to follow another boat over to the spectator area and only go idle speed-if you scuff it's all sand (hope you don't have low water pickups) Feel free to give me a call when you get close or tomorrow morning and I'll try and hook you up. but be aware that all the people you party with are CBPBA members and we will suck you in and make you a club member for life (16 years for me).

Will look for you in the "pond". Suppose to meet up with a friend or two, but they are in sportfishers. I'm sure I'll be able to identify the line of Formula's when I see em. Hope the weather holds out for everyone. Just picked up a 2Kw Honda gen and I should get the portable a/c this evening. All that left is the food and drinks, maybe the blender.
