Block Island Weekend???
 

:drink: Anyone interested in going to Block Island, RI.? I went to Block Island this past weekend for my first time. We left Long Island on waverunners Saturday AM and arrived by noon. I have been to many places over the past 20 years and by far I think Block Island is up there with the BEST. I want to get together with OSO members and spend the weekend in Block Island. I want to leave early on a Friday from New London, CT. and return on Sunday late afternoon. We live in Toms River, N.J. I will be with my wife on our 292 Formula :drink: :drink: :drink: and we will stay onboard. If anyone is interested let us know ASAP.

Doc- Block is the best, we were just there 7/30-8/1. Had a blast as we always do there.
I'm changing motors next weekend so we'll be up for another trip shortly after, maybe the weekend of the 26th.

Weekend of the 26th would work? Where do you leave from? Labor day weekend and the weekend after are bad for me! We spent the day at Ballard`s, where do you anchor? Lets get a trip of us together and enjoy a Block Island weekend. :rolleyes: Anyone else interested??

I plan on leaving out of Charlestown breach-way early saturday morning (27th) and eventually heading out to block,,, whats there to do out there ??

Holy crap,I have left out of there. Thought I was the only one to head out of that breachway .Its a challenge launching during incoming or outgoing tide from there. :D : Block is a hell of a good time. Ballards if off the hook when conditions are right. :drink:
