Re: 2006 Pirates Run

Today's weather in upstate is a disapoinment after the 65-70s that we had on the weekend. Can't wait for the Run, I hope it is Hot like it was last year that weekend. I was at the Alex Bay Poker Run. It was 90. This year its the Pirates Run, I thought I'd Bump it up to the top. Looking forward to meeitng some of the OS members. How many cigarette owners were in the run last year?

Re: 2006 Pirates Run

We also had a 35 Cig from Ohio. Really nice people. I expect to see a few more this year. By the looks of things we are going to have a full house this year! This run is going to be Rockin'! :evilb: :evilb:
A few changes for this year:
1) Display of Muscle - will be held at the Showboat and close proximity
2) We've added another Band! One for Friday, One for Saturday!!
3) Prize Money has Gone Up :D
4) Fireworks will be bigger and better!
5) Have deal set-up for ariel Photos!
6) Not only do we have prizes for Best Pirate, we have added a prize for the best wench! AAAARRGH!
7) Making arrangements with John (the owner of Showboat) to make sure the food is slammin' !
8) The Shirts were good last year, they will be better this year!

Every year we hold this run, it gets bigger and better. Last year we had 72, this year I think we should see between 80-90. We continue to attract more boaters because we go above and beyond the norm....all in the interest of havin' a little fun. :drink: Of course none of this could be done without our Kick a$$ sponsors and a kick a$$ group of low down, dirty, slimey, a little rancid, group of PIRATES!!! ARRRRRRR :p :p

Re: 2006 Pirates Run

I saw Him in Walmat buying a MR.T starter set, He said if that did not cost him to much he was going to look at something. I think if truth was known that Baha scared the hell out of him and he sold it. He stays inside and does not come out much, I also think the wife put her foot down. She makes him work all the time so that leaves him no time to boat.

:D First off lets get a few things straight 1) I went to Wal-Mart and they were out of the Mr. T Starter Sets- that pissed me off royaley 2) The Baja didn't scare me - it was Reggie's colm over that startled the $hit right out of me. 3) I stay in side so I don't get picked off by some sniper working for one of those big burger chains - they all want me dead because I flip the pie. :blaster: I suspect Fred C. may be in on this attempt
4) I work all the time so I can afford my Bar tab on Saturday nights :drink: :D

Fastercat,
I'm headed South to pick up the boat on the last Wknd in April! Figured I'd swing by and say hi to Reggie when I'm their. Maybe he can give me a few secrets  so I can get my boat to slip by your brothers :D . At this moment I have the tech guys at Fountain calculating all the ramifcations for the installation of a Lycoming Turbine and an Arneson. I'm estimating speeds in the 150 area. Figured I would get it done rite the first time. :p Now that I think about it.....I might even be able to slip by you with those numbers :chick: :chick:

[B]FOR THOSE READING THIS POST PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT.......I'M NOT O.K. IN THE HEAD :chimp:
