Talked to Charlie this weekend-sounds like we gonna have a good time. More time to spend at the stops without rushing. He said this way maybe everyone can make the chicken drop. Stalkin will be there with a full crew!

I would love to make the whole run, but my boat isnt' big enough. If anyone has room, I'm all for riding. Otherwise, my little boat will be parked in the Tickfaw all day being a spectator and drinking worm buckets.

Charlie has reserved the entire seawall in Madisonville for boat parking. There are several great restaurants/bars along the seawall so it will give everyone a chance to stretch your legs and meet more people. It is definitely a much reduced list of stops but the show must go on. I'm sure someone will have something back open on the lakefront in New Orleans for next years run. It will still be a kick in the azz this year! It's all in what you make of it! We have several friends coming in from Alabama. The new Eliminator dealer is a friend of mine who comes every year for the 200 and the Royal Purple. If anyone's interested check him out at www.cathouseperformancemarine.com.

If you're from out of town and worried about the water, don't be. We've been running in it since Mardi Gras and everything's fine. Book the hotel rooms and Bling it On!

Not sure Open. If the number of boats is still as large as usual I would think we would need both sides.

Charlie has hotels on his website www.dundeeproductions.com. Be careful if your using his map. South is at the top and west is on the right. We may have a webcam up for this one.

Well, hell Sammy, that's how Charlie reads a map! :D Good point though. Get some GPS coordinates from someone and don't rely on the map.

Sam has a great local web site www.tickfawriver.com. You'll find links to Charlie's site and many others in the area.

On another note, anyone checking out this post from the NY NJ area make sure and check out Sam Spades Crawfish Fest coming up in early June. Three stages of bands (Little Feet, Marcia Ball, The Radiators) and more Louisiana seafood dishes than you could get at any restaurant. Hope I can make it up there Sam.
