2006 Ky. Lake Poker Run, August 19th
The 3rd Annual Carl Flood Memorial(OSO member "Flood") Ky Lake Poker Run, will be held August 19th, 2006 out of the the Ky. Dam Village State Park & Marina in Gilbertsville Ky.
For those not familiar with the lake, Ky Lake is the second largest man-made Lake east of the Mississippi River, with around 200 miles of water and covering a little under200 Thousand acres.
The Host Hotel & Marina is approx. 3.5hrs east of Louisville Ky., 3.5hrs south of St. Louis, Mo. less than 2hrs north of Nashville, Tn.,
So if you like good water, 4 star Cuisine, great entertainment( band), and Southern Hospitality, check us out!! We are raising money again this year for the Army National Guard, family support group. This group makes sure that our Soldiers families are taken care of( food, clothing, elec. bill, etc,,) while they are overseas.
You can go to www.kylakepokerrun.com for more information, or I'll try and answer any questions you have. While your at the web-site, check out the write up from Poker Runs America Magazine on last years event. Thanks!!

COOL - if anyone in this region does not make it, do not whine and complain when it is all over... We are going to have a GREAT time.....
Now the serious part, the national guard guys need the help, it is a awesome run and well organized, lots of great people, some serious hardware, lots and lots of boats, great magazine and media coverage, and the food is always good...
Good food, good fun, great water, and a good cause, kind of hard to beat! It has to be one of the beter run in the country....

Last years PR at KY Lake was Tanya's and I first PR. It was great!! I really appreciated all of the people wanting to help and assist us on assuring us of having a Great time. It was a very well organized function that I will always attend. If your wanting to help some of our Military and have a great time and meet some really Fun people then you’ all need to show up!
PS
Just to let some of you know that the Second PR that my wife and I ran was at the Lake Cumberland PR. All I have to say is that we will be there but it will be on the side lines watching and taking Pic's.
As my wife say’s too me “Kentucky Lake Poker Run…where size doesn’t matter”

I will be there. Looking forward to it since I haven't made it down to the lake in the past couple of years.
Already have my room and slip booked at the Dam.

I've received several questions,,
We are only doing 5 stops on Ky. Lake this year,, There will be "NO" card stops on Lake Barkley.
Breakfast will be at the Convention Center, with the Drivers meeting to follow.
Thanks, Mitch
