I do remember the start being a little crazy. We paired up with several boats that we knew and ran together. It is a big lake and it seemed like the boats not familiar with the lake were pushing for the front. The easiest thing to do is to hang back, let everyone get a line, then pass the ones you can and the ones that break down. Plus it is a poker run not a race.

several of us from Ft worth will be up that weekend to cheer the big boys on. Were a little small for the rough water but I sure enjoy watching. After we watch the boats run my wife will let me hammer on it some. she gets pretty excited as do i. One of these days Im going to try to run it. Would love to meet some of you up there. We can party like rock stars.

We'll be there, most likely as a spectator and taking pictures. I/we may be out in the Searay watching.
Last year I actualy launched it getting cocky trying to get on top of some rough water. I'm sure it looked about as freaky as it felt for a 6000# Searay to leave the water.
