Weather looks to be pretty decent... might seriously try and make it up.

CAVelocity.. you gonna run up and then back in same day from Astor? We usually put in at 44, but could crawl up to 40.

Depends on the weather... won't make a final decision until that day. I would leave from Astor boat ramp, up to Palatka, eat lunch at Gators, do the run down to lake Cresent, and then back to Astor. That should be right at 130miles total.

Here is the weather forecast right now: A 30 percent chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Partly cloudy, with a high near 74. That is kinda iffy for that much boating..... so we'll see.

Hows the ramp in Palatka? Staying at Quality Inn. Another suggestions for a ramp?

It's a good ramp, not too steep. Two slots. I've launched my Minx, the 22 Classic, and my 302 Formula there before with no problems.

I live half a mile from that ramp, but I don't particularly like it, kind of steep.

Cuda.. your right it is a bit steep, but lots of parking, which is usually my biggest problem. Wanna see a steep ramp, put in at Monroe Marina... crazy when the lake is low. (like now)

Well the weather might not matter for me. Still waiting on parts for it so my boat is sitting in the driveway for this one. I might have a seat on another boat if they come but haven't heard back yet. Looks like I'm sleeping in tomorrow...

I've been hearing the weather might be a little ugly in the AM but it should get better as the day progresses. I guess just keep an eye on it.
