Rich ya driving down? |
There is some talk about over nighting on the Chick somewhere and running down to Jordan Point Sat. morning about 8am, anyone interested? Either Taylors marina or Rivers Rest are likely... This is all because Jordan Point is not very accommodating to most of the 100+ poker runners.
Me Franky and Mark all did this last year. |
Jordan Point is great to deal with and have nice ameneties. POOL.....You should have reservered your space earlier than you did. They will be working with there locals to see if more boats can fit in Friday night.

Well I was thinking about making the run up Friday to strictly "observe" the happenings , but it looks like it's not to be. Anybody bringing a dingy, perhaps we could get a raftup going just off the marina and taxi in....:p

I am 18th on the list will that get me in .:drink: 272 FORMULA FOR SALE :D :D :D
Hard to say....Jordan Point is not like Hampton area marinas that may have a number of transients...they get virtually none. Therefore their goal is to rent every slip they have to long term renters. For the Poker Run they make available every slip (and open bulkheads) they possibly can that weekend. Unfortunately they don't know how many will be open or how many regulars will be away that weekend until we get close to the date. There are several other marinas in the area and I have wondered if it would be worthwhile to try and get a group together at one of those marinas too. |

So last year and this year I will just run down from the chick early morning, its no big deal, plus I am comforable with the ramp there. James when can I bring the boat over to do the stereo? I have 4 speakers to install and 1 more amp... Or I will pay your way to come over, we can make Amy cook us something... now I know your ears are perked up |

We will have little Sadie Thunder with us so we must have a place where we can take her for her evening and morning walks. ;) |
Lets talk about that a few weeks before, there will be enough slip space for us at Taylors (coloial Harbor) for sure, and there is lots of space for dog walks, not a real nice bathroom, but there is power available, may cost you 10 bucks for a night, can't beat that !!!!
