how does ouachita compare to north tx lakes, as far as roughness.

Lot's of rolling hill's and moutains surronding the lake shelter it somewhat from the winds. As far a s big lakes go it not bad, unless a storm brews up something to throw at you.

will Mountain Harbor be the place to hang out as far as for just lookers, such as myself?
I'd like to go to Ouatchita, is been over 10 years since I last time I was there, and this will be a good excuse.

Yep, We will have lots of boats and great food too! If Mountain Harbor is booked you can check with Crystal Inn or Brady Mountain Resort.
