Glad you all have had great luck, and keep your fingers crossed for this year.

We have used that ramp for three of the Radar shoots and every time someone in our group gets bit, and its not pretty.

It all depends on each boat/trailer setup. Slipping a straight bottom boat on/off of a low slung steel trailer, and floating a step-bottom boat high enough to float over the notched rear bunks are two different feats. I could be wrong, but the above boats look like straight-bottoms.
Thanks Sydwayz. I believe the only boat in the middle is a straight bottom and that was launched off of our 53' boat hauler. But you make a valid point and appreciate you pointing it out.

Next closest put in would probably be Garrett's and not sure that is viable for larger boats without being fork lifted in. Other than that you are looking at Urbanna area which starts to eat gas.

But thanks for keeping it on your scope and being willing to check it out!

Like Mr. Cigarette put it, the decision is ultimately yours. If you decide to come out we hope you have a good time. If not, that is your decision.

Our run is about getting a diversity of boat styles and boaters and we anticipate having plenty of participants.

If this is a topic that you would like to continue I would request that you create a seperate thread as I would like to leave this one open to other's questions about the run.

Thank you and have a good day.

Averaging 50 mph, figure on about 30-40 minutes.
