Just booked the last two rooms at the Hotel (Under the alloted block for the PR) $199/night. She said not to worry, there's still more rooms but they're gonna add more rooms to the block. Sounds like a good turnout!

Damn, thanks for reminding me! I gotta get a room this year as well...no Hammond to go back to! Think I'll throw the boat on the trailer after the run and get STUPID(er) at the dinner party.

I have not even thought about it yet. I just mailed my fee for the Oshkosh Poker Run in 4 weeks. PRA runs in Florida will let you register minutes before thier runs. I can assure you the Chicago Run will sell out.

We are a not-for-profit club. Once we hit 85 boats, the doors are closed. The way it looks now, registration will be closed sometime in June. In fact, registration cost will increase on June 10 by $100. Our club members always sign up at the last minute. I will tell you that there are only 2 of our 160 club members currently signed up. I will also tell you that 0 of our directors have signed up. I have not even signed up yet. |
OSO will be there for sure possibly with 2 boats.
Great event, these guys do an excellent job. This venue is very poker run friendly. The hotel, marina, truck parking, boat ramp, food, etc are all right there. We took the extra time to go throught the lock and up through downtown Chicago after the run, it was beautiful. |
