Maybe one of the Reef folks or Magnum might know but I don't.
No other way. USE SHMIDT RAMP.

Default Another route to Watertown

OK guys here is the other route into Watertown. I used it all the time pulling my 38.
I -471 South runs into US 27 in Highland Heights. Follow US 27 through Highland Heights until you see State route 1998. (Its seven stop lights until 1998)Turn left on to 1998. Your point of interset building will be the big DVA building on the leftside. Go down 1998 (You will be going down a long hill be careful) until it runs into route 8. Turn left and come back down the river on route 8 until your run into Watertown. It is about 5 miles coming back down the river and it is all good road for pulling boats. Hope this helps everyone.
Another point there is a $10.00 fee to put in At Schmidt Field.

Thanks for the directions. I couldn't find US27 or state rt 1998 in mapquest. Could 1998 be Industrial Rd?

Default Attention Cincinnati Poker Runners

1998 is Industrial Road. I-471 turns into US 27 at the end of the expressway at the first light. There is a Perkins restaurant on your left at the first light. At the second light you are at NKU entrance and also a BP gas station. After that just count the seven traffic lights until you get to Indusatrail Road(1998) turn left and follow my previous directions.

Steve,

Thanks again, it looks like this might be a better way to go than the old way.

Anyone know what the water looks like. Never been to the river at Cincy. It looks like it might be raining pretty hard there now? Trying to decide if it will be worth towing there or not.

The river has been in excellent shape! Best in recent years! Can see the prop as clear as cumberland!! These small pop up storm cells haven't really affected it at all.

Come on down! The they have planned makes for a great day!

The radar looks like you guys are getting hammered right now. We were going to leave at 5:30, I think we are going to wait until early morning to see how the weather is?? Hate to head out with the boat into a thunderstorm.
