Danny, I noticed your name Convincor 253, my first boat was a 1990 Convincor with 454 mag. Ran 66-67. Later put in a 502 and got it to 70.

Roger - Thx. You should come to the HRPA run in August. A great time and we get to run down the Ocean Front in Virginia Beach. Should be another great time and party.

I agree and a few of the fountains should of been thrown out of the run since I was the 1st pace boat and they passed me before the yellow flag was dropped and pinched me in between each other. NOT SAFE GUYS.

I had a 1998 Convincor 253 with a 502/415. It ran 68 mph with a Mirage 23P. I bought a Mirage 25P, had it lab finished by Mercury and it then ran a solid 70 mph on the GPS. But, unlike the Fountain, you had to drive it like it was a 20' Allison. Fortunately I used to drag race a 20 Allison so I was used to the balancing act. I liked my Checkmate but not near as much as my Fountain.

I have some video of your boat from last Saturday. It is not very good quality but I think you would still enjoy seeing it. PM me your email address and I will try to send it to you. Last out....naaa That was me in my 25 AT. You weren't the center console OB fountain were ya? I passed them in the no wake zone ( i was speeding along at 7 1/2 MPH)
