I am going to the 1000 Island run too. It sounds like I should get a chart for the local area waters for my GPS. I'm lookin for anyone else going from Ct to travel with. I will probably go Thursday afternoon or evening. Anyone looking for traveling together just let me know.
Drop by Thursday or Friday. Ask for Boxy, I'd be happy to go over the charts with you.

We are leaving for Canada from Milford early Friday morning--like 4am. It'd be great to have some company on the road if you're planning on leaving on Friday, I saw you mentioned possibly Thursday though. Give me a call if you want to drive up together--otherwise we can get in touch up there.

We will be rolling in Friday late morning. Maybe you will see us in a large Caravan of boats on the Thruway going west friday morning. If you see us at the docks come and say hi.

The card stops are on the Canadien side, the channel goes back & forth...American & Canadien. If anyone has room in their boat I am not bringing my AT(gotta haul a deck boat). I grew up boating on the river and am familiar with most areas....would love a ride in the run. I will be staying up there for several days....American side 15 miles down river from Alex Bay
