Also what is the closest ramp to steamboat with directions please in case we decide to trailer there vs motoring from Port Jeff.
TSPM, you can get 89 at Glen Cove Marina or at Brewers which is right next door. The easist ramp is in Glen Cove. You take Glen Cove road north to the end. When you reach the firehouse at the end of GC Rd. bear left and go over the new bridge and make a left after you go over the bridge. Take that rd to the end and make a left. Take that rd to the end and you will be at the boat ramp. This ramp is best at mid tide. At high tide you have to bury your truck. Tom

Hey Tom,
I'll be coming there with "In A Hurry" , does the marina next door still travel lift the boats in? We were gonna bring the Super Vee but she's getting a good going over before the Chatanooga, Tenn. Race. Also, a friend with a 38' Scarab might be coming too. Thanks , Louie

Louie , you can either use Glen Cove Marina , which is right next door or you can use Brewers Marina which next to Glen Cove Marina. I believe Billy has Brewers on his info sheet as who to use for launch service, I went to marc the manager of Brewers and informed him about people needing travel lift service for their boats. Tom

Default 2nd Ramp Glen Cove

Hey Tom,
Could you post the directions from Steamboat Landing Restaurant to the 2nd ramp, located further into Hempstead Bay...is it Glenwood Landing?
