Default The Lake Rescue Benefit Shootout Lake of the Ozarks

Thinking about planning a trip to the shootout next year (2008) with the boat to spectate. Can anyone give me some info on where to stay? Can I stay on the boat at a marina. I see a lot of boats rafted-up. Can anyone give me some specific deatails or a contact?

If they do get it put together for 2008.

The state park marina is a good place to stay on the boat but you want to get your slip reserved early. It is commonly refered to as Public Beach 1 or PB 1.

There are a ton of condo complexes so if you want to rent a place there are many, many choices. PMG is one of many places you can call or log onto to see options.

The boats raft up during the race and disband when it is finished as that is a main channel of the lake. If you have a small boat you leave a little early to avoid the large washing machine waves that ensue.

what else do you want to know?
