What info are you looking for?
Classes? We're still deciding that, some depends on the boats that sign up.
Course? The planned course is starting 1/4 mile south of bridge water channel head just about due south for 2 miles. This give spectators located at Rotary Park and beach a nice view.
Date? Saturday April 26, 2008
Measurement? Planning to use both radar and Gps handhelds.
Procedure? Enter the course in gear at an idle, top speed will be measured at the one mile marker. Maximum of 2 passes allowed during the day.

what safety precautions do you have in place, med rescue, heli transport, emergency scuba team,fire rescue team,on site med unit,etc. What type of liability insurance and umbrella waiver policy will be used,what patrol boat method and procedure will be used for crowd safety,all very important to overall success of such an event, Spectator
We have always included the fire department rescue boats with over a dozen patrol boats. For the last two years we have included two aerial EMT scuba teams and EMT response boats. Ambulances standing by and the hospital noitifed about the event. A 3 million dollar liabitiy policy and requirements that all boats participating have their own policies.
We are working on the spectator arrangements as we speak
