I checked in to it and they can't find any record of such a "deal" or promotion. Do you have some reciepts or any paperwork on it? I also had them check on Carlos's name and there's no record of any reservation

What info are you looking for?

Classes? We're still deciding that, some depends on the boats that sign up.

Course? The planned course is starting 1/4 mile south of bridge water channel head just about due south for 2 miles. This give spectators located at Rotary Park and beach a nice view.

Date? Saturday April 26, 2008

Measurement? Planning to use both radar and Gps handhelds.

Procedure? Enter the course in gear at an idle, top speed will be measured at the one mile marker. Maximum of 2 passes allowed during the day.

Suggestions? We're listening

Gramp, you evidently don't subscribe to Extreme Boat Magazine or any of the others. We have one of the safest events out there, with all of those attibutes, which as been the subject of several articles.

We have always included the fire department rescue boats with over a dozen patrol boats. For the last two years we have included two aerial EMT scuba teams and EMT response boats. Ambulances standing by and the hospital noitifed about the event. A 3 million dollar liabitiy policy and requirements that all boats participating have their own policies.

We are working on the spectator arrangements as we speak
