ST, you wanting to stay close to the river or closer to New Orleans area? Best airport to come into would definitely be Armstrong in N.O. They have many more options on flights than Baton Rouge. And, it's about the same distance from either. Probably an easier drive from N.O. If you are wanting to stay near the Tickfaw and Charlie's place, Hammond/Ponchatoula would be the town to stay in. Go to www.dundeeproductions.com and Charlie has a listing of nearby hotels. If you would rather stay closer to N.O., AJ would be the authority on that side of the lake.
