Desert Storm 2008 Vids and Pics
Thought I would start a thread to start posting some of the happenings...
Will post details later, but wante to at least get some vids up from my navigators blackberry.
This one you'll see me starting slow, and as I start to make a move, a 33' Elim from Wisconsin w/900hps doesn't see me and almost takes me out from starboard side.
We back off, let it settle down, then get right back in the mix.
Great time. Boat is a sweetheart....
More later...

Sound of the Coupe
Here is a series after our first card stop on our way up to 110mph. My buddy that is videoing has the video above the canopy at first then in the cockpit so you can hear the noise difference...
Pretty cool carrying on a coversation at 100+ mph without intercoms...

Yeah, I didn't even bother running in the shootout on Saturday - it wasn't because of the wind though - I made that decision Fri night - one of my engine hatch rams seized and we couldn't get it open.
I had no idea what my fluids looked like or if any water was leaking or anything like that. The boyz from Pretige spent 2 hours trying to get it open and couldn't get it done...so I decided to not push the motors and just head down to Steamboat Cove - hung out their chilled w/some So Cal locals - then when I headed back, had a ball running in 3 footers - skimmed right over them - ate 'em up much more eligently than my 28 did.
Had to come off plane once we got to Thompson bay near the course - that sucked - had waves crashing over the bow - crazy...
Ended up spending the rest of the day in the channel.
