WOW WOW WOW What a weekend....... Two great days of boating with some of the greatest most professional boaters I have boated with in a long time. We had great weather both days, a little windy, but that added to some great water. Saturday we had about 10 boats that ran all the way to Manhattan where we met Sharkey who was stationed at the Hyatt Hotel Pier and I think he got some great shots of us. Then off to the Lady Liberty for a view and then the East river where I think a few thought that was the high light of the day. After the trip around Manhattan we were off to the marina for food and a couple beers with some great stories.
Today was another set of 12 boats and we ran all the way to Kingston and had lunch at the Steel Pier. Again great food and some chit chat and then off to our home marina to load up and call it a weekend. So all in all we ran a total of about 175 miles and we only lost a couple of boats along the way due to mechanical issues. So lets get some of those photos and videos up so we can all see. Thanks to everyone who showed up and hope to see all of you in the spring. Anthony Nordic95 |

We had a great time, we really appreciate all the work and effort that went into getting this together. It was a pleasure meeting everyone and the tour was 2nd to none. We will be in KeyWest, as you enter the Truman Annex our condo is the 2nd on the right past the guard shack. Look for a flag, banner, sticker or even chalk on the sidewalk to show our presence. Stop by and introduce yourself and have a treat:) . I posted all video from the bow cam and pics on our facebook : http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/...00000304211143
Thanks for a great run and it would be our pleasure to have such a professional crowd at our "Swamp Run" poker run for Make-A-Wish in July of 2011 , we are tring to break our donation record from 2010 of $10,641.00 http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/p...make-wish.html |

Will hopefully do it again in the spring. I think that's me in the background of your first pic trying to find some water!! |

had a blast today running north. Aside from the debris in the water large enough to take out a boat , ( to be expected on the hudson) it was a perfect day. After lunch, Kendall and my self ran south and stoped at torches to have a drink with steve and erin jersey. we were watching everyone go by but we didnt see JamesGang. I was expecting him to blow by us on the way back, but he was no where to be seen. curious on what happened.
Nordic95 thanks for organizing a great weekend. sorry but the video camera I had was mounted to low. i did get good footage of us almost be ejected out of the boat when we dodged the tree trunks. thank god for the sit down race seats. it could of got ugly. |
