Water has been pretty bad the last two years. Am thinking we're due for a smooth year. Had a guy in a DCB a couple years ago chirping about being the "King of the River". I said, "That's cool, but let's see how you do in the lake". Saw him later in the day Saturday. Well, I saw the bottom of his hull A LOT while crossing Ponchartrain back to Manchac!!! All kidding aside, got the heads back on the Starboard engine, made a little shakedown run to Prop Stop last weekend. Going back down today to complete the clean-up on boat and condo and then it's ON next Thursday night. Got several friends coming in from Bama so we're definitely looking forward to it. See everyone then! |

Looks like 11mph winds out of the south this year.Much better than last years 20 mph winds. Hanging out at the bar was fun last year. We always make the best off it!

Who ever is down Thursday night Warsaw will have a band playing that night. Weather is looking good also.
BOAT PARKING lots of calls about it. Bruse's harbor is letting anyone park boats in the canals over a mile of canal in there. It's all open to park over night and all weekend. Just be kind to the houses In there. |
