That would be me. Threw out as a suggestion if someone coming in rented a housebaot rather than rented a room. We were all throwing out ideas about what to do in the beginning. I'll be there but have a place at the lake so I won't be renting anything-sorry.

I wouldn't mind pitching in or renting a houseboat and having some others pitch in with me but who rents them up that way? And I might have to let Buddy drive it

You can rent them at GreenTurtle Bay Resort (about a 5 minute boat ride from there to the Party Cove running about 45mph) or rent from Kentucky Damn Marina. They both have pretty decent rates. If you can find someone thats in the Military I belive they give discounts also. Just google those two places, they have a website.

have any of you been down a little farther south past fatt daddys. pirates cove is just a little father down on left right under the big power lines and is nice and the people that own it are good people,not like the guy from fatt daddys.Just to let you know.check them out at www.leatherwoodresort.com. are call 931-232-5137.can rent house boats at .WWW.KYDAMMARINA.COM. 58x14 are 1895.00 fri-mon and 80x18 are 3595.00 fri-mon hope this helps
