Looking at coming up.. 1 38Zr from AL and 2 other 38's from New O. Any details for first timers is appreciated... hotel, etc

Most of the run is detailed on the website, www.chattanoogapowerboatclub.com
There are two sponsor hotels on the site that are 3 miles from launch ramp and start of the run. Erwin marine is located within the state park. TVA ramp will handle boats up to 50+. Numerous hotels close to Erwin Marine (within 10miles) if those dont fit your style. The water police are not strict unless ur doing something stupid, they will be at our meeting and are full aware of our run as well as the coast guard. None of the marinas along the run have 93 octane. First stop is 45 miles away. Or if you can't make it, the first stop can be 30 miles away. Erwin Marine where the run starts does NOT sell beer due to its located within a state park. |
I called 3 different Hamptons in the area starting with the one in Hixson. No rooms.. and nothing blocked for the run. They said something else is going on that weekend. Any other good hotels close? Near ramp or event
Does your post mean there is 93 oct at the first stop or no where along the run? Thanks, |
I just called yesturday and made reservations. Hampton in Number is 423-308-2333 and Country in number is 423 877 3100. Both had rooms that weekend.

Thats the Hampton I called. Nothing avail anymore. I'll keep looking.

We just confirmed with them. They had our run down as FUN RUN and there have been people asking about a poker run. We cleared this up with both sponsor hotels. So, they understand the poker run calls are the same as the Fun Run. There are rooms available!!! Sorry for the confusion.
