Talking 21st Seneca Lake Battleship Run

Only 2 weeks away to our 21st annual Seneca Lake Battleship Run, July 16th. Those of you that have been to Seneca Lake, New York's finest Finger Lake, will attest to it being a great boating venue. We always do it the 3rd weekend in July because the weather is at it's best. We've been doing it for 20 years so we must be doing something right!
This year we are proud to be title sponsored by Tempstar. The driver giveaways are better than ever with a bottle or can coozie and your choice of a t-shirt, a carry/ duffle bag, towel or even one of the 4 blankets we have left from last year. In addition we are happy to announce the return of Nashville recording artist Josie Waverly and her great band. They were a huge smash last year (they don't play all country but rock as well) and we heard the comments to bring 'em back and we did.
For an application go to http://www.rochesteroffshore.com/PDF...RunApp2011.pdf
There are still sponsorship opportunities available and a few oof the sponsor docks are left so don't wait for the 3 day forecast- get in now!

Hmmm, just two weeks. Might be time to start "wax on / wax off" on the boat. I wouldn't want to disappoint anyone with my usual level of boat preparation. Then again, the boat (and the owner) aren't getting any younger you know. I might even have to press that little kid who's been with me every year into driving. (Oh wait, he's 18 now.)

If you would just make the drive to Rochester for our club meetings, you'd know the secret!

BTW, your boat is going the wrong way in your signature photo. You running away from me?

So you're saying that Rochester Offshore has Progressions coming and going?

Something like that.
In regards to driving to Rochester for meetings . . . I have been lobbying for years to have the club, and the runs, moved closer to me so I can be more active. It seems there is a great deal of resistance to moving either Rochester or Seneca Lake - who knew?

Yea, kind of shocking - especially when one considers what a hot bed of high performance boat activity Wilbraham, MA is. Last time I checked, it was you and some guy in a Bayliner with 2.5 Offshore.
