Lake Lanier, Georgia Aug 27th Poker Run
I received this email regarding the Lake Lanier Castaways Poker Run August 27, 2011. and thought I would pass along!
Dear Friends,
This is a follow-up email to remind and invite any of you who are not going to LOTO on Aug 27, 2011 to join me in Georgia. Windship is a sponsor of the Lake Lanier Castaways Poker Run on August 27. This is the third annual and NEW this year we have added a card stop at the North end of the lake for those, like I, who would like to have a longer 38 mile run there and 38 miles back in addition to the established four other stops at sponsoring marinas.
Lake Lanier Islands is a great venue for a poker run. Everything is right at your fingertips. Hotel, boat ramps, dockage, helicopter friendly, trailer parking, restaurants, bands and the infamous Sunset Cove. For those of you needing more excitement the Islands are chris crossed with dueling ZIP Lines.
I have secure dockage on Lake Lanier Islands and at Holiday Marina, with water and power for August 25 - 28. Slips are reserved for us. Email me directly if you want one of these.
Click here for dock space at Sunset Cove on Saturday, August 27, Poker Run Day, highly recommended(it's display and party time), if desired:

LATE BREAKING NEWS!
PIER 57 has just become another sponsor of this event! The outrageous Pier 57 Hospitality semi truck and 53 foot trailer will be present at the Captains party Friday, August 26 alongside Windship on display as well as the Tilted Kilt race boats. Many thanks to David Woods, who will be with us in person!
Please come out and help us raise money for the kids at Camp Sunshine and for the Families of Fallen Soldiers. If you can't make it, feel free to send this email along to anyone you are acquainted with that might like to join us for what is sure to be a rockin weekend.
regards,
John Woodruff

Was just about to make a follow up post to my post the other day about this. Can't wait to get out and enjoy this poker run on my home lake. It's going to be a great day for a great cause and being able to see some awesome boats in action is a definite plus!
Just a couple weeks away!
