Whos coming and whats your plans?

We will be at Bonnie Slip and room, prob be at Isles on sat for sure maybe on the town dock on Fri/Sat night just to hang.

Will be there from the Ontario side. How are the NY police? On our side, we cant even have booze in the boat.

Not bad never had an issue but have never been out to pirates. Alcohol laws in boats are the same as cars in NY. .08 your going to jail

I am OK as the driver, just wondering about passengers not driving.

passenger can get drunk off their aces as far as I know

Kind of odd the NY has a somewhat laxed law, As long a the driver of the boat is not drinking, the passengers can do KEG stands ans whatever they want as long as your not breaking a navigation law your fine. Keep the driver sober and the rest of them can "hoot" it up all they want. Open container is fine for passengers but keep a sober driver, especially on this weekend in the bay. We will be around and flag us down if you see us or feel free to tie up.

The only thing I have read that the driver is just like a car and can not be over .08, thats the only thing ive read on it.

I have heard but not confirmed that the driver can not be open intox while boat is in gear.

.08 will get you a BWI, less then that can yield you a BWAI

Yep it will!! And never go out at night..They are out there looking all the time...
