Ohio River
 

Not real sure if this is the right forum for this but i'll give it a shot. Does anyone around the Cincinnati area ever put in on the Ohio and watch the concerts at Riverbend? Thinking about heading up that way this coming Friday for the Jason Aldean concert but wasn't sure. Just looking for opinions.

Lots of people do it, its always a good time. Put in early and go to one of the bars or Hooters and get some food then run up to riverbend and enjoy the music!

Thanks. Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm up there every year for WEBN but Ive never been out for any concerts. May have to give it a try this year.

Much easier to get around than during WEBN. (You should be at Cumberland that weekend anyway... :drink: ) If you can handle that mess, Jason Aldeen concert will be a breeze!

Next sat there is a fun run on the river that leaves around noon from drews bar on the river down by the ferry {west or south of town } a couple of miles that hits a couple close spots then heads down to aurora in. There is more info posted on cincinnati powerboat club , its a facebook page.

thanks for the info fasthawk. ive been looking for some events up on the ohio and havent had much luck.

ill def. be at cumberland for the poker run though the weekend after WEBN, havent missed it in the past 6 years. leaving that thursday morning with about 6 other boats from town.

Good times. Watch for popo after the concerts. Be sure not to carry a wake between bridges downtown after dark.

We usually hit Ludlow Bromley Yacht Club on the west side of town.
