We ran up the lake with the Black Thunder and the all blue fountain. Parked right away and when inside and ask the lady to wait on us. Had our food with 15 minutes. Finished up and looked around and look at the big picture of the raft up. Then headed back to Harmon. They were should pack in there by 3:00pm, more houseboats then I ever have seen in there. All and all a good day Friday.

I'm currently uploading mine. Can be seen
HERE
Number of photos growing for the next couple hours.
Fair warning, just a boating schmuck with a camera, not even close to professional grade.
I didn't get to party cove till near 4 on Saturday, and I have never seen it so crowded. I made a few attempts, but there was no way I could find to get back in to jacks branch, it was just too packed. The overflow outside into harmon was more than I've ever seen in jacks branch before! Next year, it's straight to party cove before the lunch break.
And as a side note about conley. They averted a major disaster Saturday afternoon. A bayliner runabout tied between two docked houseboats caught fire. The crew managed to get it knocked down enough with fire extinguishers to cut it loose and drag it out in to the harbor and then put it out with the fire boat. It was docked on the main pier. That could have been REAL ugly.

As I said the girls there did a great job of taking care of us but yes there was an issue with "good 'ol Charlie" right of the bat. I guess it was between the two of us but it was in front of about 20 of the first ones there and we talked about leaving right then. I assured him I would never spend a dime at his place and I will stick to that.

I wll admit it was my fault and yes I was in the wrong. I brought a beer onto the dock beside my boat and he came out and unloaded on me. The beer was covered just as I have done for the last 15 yrs of boating down there and I've never had a problem anywhere else. When I say he unloaded I really mean unloaded and told the roughly 20 people standing around us that we could just go elsewhere. Like I said I've been boating there for a long time and understand the whole dry county thing but come on. This was a cloudy kind of cold day and we are bringing you about 50 people for lunch to add to the 5 you have when we get there.

Yeah, he said he got closed down for having beer on his dock.
Guess he has never heard of State Dock.
He is just a grumpy old man.
BTW, do you have to get the photo pics from Boatpixs by mail? Their website doesn't have a photo page to view before buying.
