anchor will only hold him in one spot, the hook'l make him squirm a little :D maybe a combination of both will do the trick tho:lolhit:

hey i do have about 70 jug lines me,joey, his son and bub used to catch them 100Lb+ alligator gar at the marina rigged and ready to go! cought a few 5-6' gators on them all so. that was fun getting them off.
