So Saturdays weather looks like its going to be 70 and partly cloudy. That would be great boating weather for a trip around Manhattan. But the tide arent working with our schedule. Looks like dead low it at 11am or scheduled leaving time. So we either have to launch and leave by 9am the latest or wait till 1-2pm and leave then. It all depends on the larger boats and if they are attending or not. So who is in and should we leave early or later in the day?

Anthony, we could leave later just run down to the city then have dinner somewhere when we get back and loaded. I am fine with whatever every one else wants though. If we leave early will probably go up Fri. night and sleep in boat, are the showers on at the marina?

Thanks Tim and sorry we couldnt get together on this one. Cathy and I as well as our friends from NH couldnt do the 5th for personal reasons. Thats why we had to have it the 12th. But our fall run is a much bigger hit as you know and that date will always be Saturday or Columbus Day weekend. We may also run Sunday so if you are around let me know.

It looks like there are only about six or seven boats going into this event. So if thats the case then we are thinking of leaving the marina by 9am before low tide. We will head south to NYC and then maybe over to the pond for a raft up and lunch. So pack a cooler with lunch and drinks and we will spend the day out on the water and play it by ear. So Ill see everyone at the launch ramp around 8am.

Thanks Anthony
