Pirate Ghost Parade
Last year's photos just posted!
www.pirateghostparade.com
This was a great event last year with 45 boats on parade and over 250 pirates.
The crews "tailgate" all afternoon while decorating their boats, and then kick-off the mardi-gras style parade at 6PM.
It's quite an experience to enjoy with your "pirate crew", and you don't burn any gas or break any parts in this boating event!
Participants each receive a key to try to open the lock on the $500 treasure chest prize, and best of all the Shriners Children Hospital in Galveston is awarded a donation check from the event.
See you all this Saturday!

Just check with them before towing to Galveston to make sure their not maxed out (65 boats) on Saturday. Unfortunately we are out as its not working for us. Got a 12 trip to Florida end of the month we have to get ready for. If things wouldn't of changed with Tom, we would most likely still be going as we had hotel rooms booked Friday and Saturday night in Galveston and hotel room booked in Clear Lake for Sunday. Decorations were on order. Found out last weekend that Tom and wife will not be on board John's boat as they were told they were full up. Hate to miss it as it was one fun event and we had a blast last year. Hopefully we will get it all together next year and go.
