the most exciting weekend on the water!
Power Boating Canada and Poker Runs America, along with our friends at Golden Anchor Marina, invite you to join us for the annual Ottawa River Festival and Power Boating Weekend, July 4-6, 2014, hosted by the Town of Hawkesbury, Ontario.
This year’s event will feature two classes – a Poker Run Rendez-vous for family boats, and a separate High Performance Poker Run class.
The Poker Run and Rendez-vous is open to all power boat types and sizes, including cruisers, pontoons, performance boats and everything in between.
Come and enjoy one of the most fun-filled weekends of the summer!

And Don't Miss Metal Mulisha's Jason Thorne's Motocross Freestyle Show at the event! http://jasonthornefmx.com/
What is a Poker Run and Rendez-vous?
It is not a race, it is a game of chance, and only the boat with the best card hand will be declared the winner. Speed has no bearing on the results – it’s all in the cards!
Participants will be eligible for prizes including cash for the winners, plus plaques, T-shirts, and door prizes.
The event commences with a Friday night party, followed by breakfast, lunch during the Poker Run and Rendez-vous, and an awards dinner on Saturday.
Sunday July 6 will feature our annual charity event – The Mayors’ Challenge, featuring the Mayors of: Hawkesbury, Clarence-Rockland, East Hawkesbury, Champlain, Alfred and Plantagenet, Nation, Casselman and Russell.
The Mayors will compete in the annual Water Ski Challenge – you can be part of the excitement by entering your own water ski team. Each team will be competing to allow their favorite mayor to win – it is all for a great cause!
All participants will receive a DVD of the event, and winners will be photographed and featured in Les Plaisanciers and Power Boating Canada Magazine.
The Mayors’ Challenge will commence in the Town of Hawkesbury and proceed to Clarence-Rockland where the participants will enjoy lunch and trophy presentation.
Proceeds from the Mayors’ Challenge will benefit a local charity.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
