The LONG ISLAND STAMPEDE will be held on Sat June 13th, Braccos of Freeport will again be hosting the run, Fri night party, and Sat post run festivities. I have managed to reduce the entrance fee and still give more value for everyone. This years run will be slightly longer in distance ,and only have one combined class of large and small boats. Please be patient while I develope a web site for info and registration.
2015 Fee: $200 per boat , this will include the boat and unlimited crew members. Each registered boat receives 1 poker hand, 2 shirts, breakfast , and dinner.
This year SHARKY IMAGES will be photographing the event from a helicopter and on the docks .

Longisland poker run
The "LONG ISLAND STAMPEDE" poker run is on!!!!!!!!!!!
This committee has set out to return a world quality Poker Run event back to the south shore of Long Island.
Poker Run date: Sat, June 13th, 2015
Rain date: Sun, June 14th, 2015
The "Stampede" headquarters will be Bracco's of Freeport.
We will hold a Friday night pre-event party and pre event registration. Some boats and event sponsors will be on display.
Sat 9;00am starts Breakfast and registration
11;30 am MANDITORY drivers meeting
The Poker Run Route:
1st Card, 12:00 noon Leaving Bracco's in a Parade fashion to the milling area at the Jones Beach Coast Guard station.
The 2nd card pick up will be inside of the East Rockaway inlet. This is a 10 mile ocean run.
The 3rd card pick up will be at Kismet, Fire Island. This is a 26 mile ocean run.
The 4th Card stop will be in Bayshore at Nicky's On The Bay. This is a 5 mile run straight across the bay.
The 5th and final card pick up will be back at Bracco's of Freeport. The return trip will be from Nicky's back to the Fire Island Inlet, ocean run to the Jones inlet, then run in the bay back to Bracco's.
Entrance Fee:$200 Per Boat
Boat and entire crew
1 poker hand
2 tee shirts
Drivers meeting breakfast at Bracco's
Dinner and awards ceremony at Bracco's starting at 4:00pm
The Poker Run Prizes will be determined by the amount of entrants.
This Year Tim Sharkey will be photographing the event from the helicopter
Registration will be done at the Fri Night Party and the morning of the event (9:00-11:30)

I wish I could. Still working out some bugs. Pulling air bubbles into motor. Visible in sea strainer. I believe it's coming from drive hose.......also need to finish breaking in the motors while also packing to move and rebuild the new house, man........ I wish I was a school teacher! Summers off
