Going to start a 2017 today when I get home. Was putting it off till all the 16 run were over to not step on anyone's toes. Will be up later tonight for 2017.

In reply to your earlier post, if you arrive too late to launch at the marina, there is a nice public landing nearby. I like to launch there and park my truck and trailer in the fields so I can haul it out on Saturday night. If you use the free valet trailer parking you won't be able to get to your trailer until Sunday.
There is a canal that loops around the adjacent neighborhood where everyone ties up at night.
It's a little shallow but nothing a little trim won't fix.
A word of caution - if you launch at the marina, you better have your stuff together because EVERYONE is watching and will heckle you if you screw up! (all in fun though)
It is a laid back good time, and you will have a great time!
Thanks for the insight and I figured it would be ok but in all the pics and videos we have been watching, didn't look like any kids at all.
He turns 13 on May fourth so his birthday present is to get out of school and go play with us in the swamps and he is stoked already!
Our plan is to get there by late Thursday afternoon and at least get boats in water.
Guess we better do some practice launches before we go to blow the winter cob webs off! Lol.
