Well Poker Runners,

The 8th annual Powerboating for a Cure Poker Run …is back and will be better than ever for 2016!

Combining the raw fury of the area’s meanest & fastest powerboats, this year’s Poker Run is sure to be the best one yet! We want to make this poker run not only the best ever, but also the best in the USA! But we can’t do it without you. You will be talking about this one for a long time!

The Poker Run will take place on Friday July 8 & Saturday July 9, 2016, presented by MAPA (Mid Atlantic Powerboat Association). All proceeds to go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Powerboating for a Cure 2015 was the best yet. We even had a proposal during the awards ceremony!

Last year we had to turn away crews who waited too long to register last year as we have limited space. Don't get turned away in 2016!
Just like last year we expect to SELL OUT very early – we ALREADY have about 44 registrations which is more than 1/2 way sold out, so PLEASE don’t wait to register.
When you register - PLEASE make sure you give us a GOOD email address. We need that email address to get information to you!!!

Our website is open for registration. The link to our website: www.mapacharity.org

There will be many updates so, as we get closer, watch our website and our Facebook page for latest info. www.facebook.com/Powerboatingforacurepr
There will also be threads here on OSO as well.
This year will feature a new course and different stops, so it will be fresh for all!

The Sheraton Hotel is now ready to accept your reservations for this years event! Book early before they fill up too.....

https://www.starwoodmeeting.com/Book/PFAC2016 Or call 1-800-325-3535 and ask for the Powerboating for a Cure Rate.
Sorry Bill...the excitement got the best of me.....

Ive never actually done this run due to my boat being under construction for some reason or another. I always go down to the docks on Friday and check everything out and mingle. Chris Bowers and I both registered last night and plan on attending this year for a change!!lol Ready to get back on the water, looking forward to it!!
