In honor of a dear friend to many and influential member of the powerboat community, we are proud to present The Second Joe Sgro Memorial Poker Run. A portion of proceeds will be donated to the Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.
We look forward to seeing many of you there - please let us know if you have any questions!
The runs primary course will be about 100 Miles, course will be finalized By July 15th. The beautiful part about this run is that we will be running shielded waters. This years charity is Maria Fareri Children's Hospital, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to them. We are hoping to raise a ton of money for charity this year. Local participation is essential along with support from regional performance boaters to keep this event growing.
We ask that you register early to help with the planning. This way we can concentrate on creating an enjoyable safe weekend. Your slip is included in your registration both at Liberty Landing and Lunch Stop. Booking early will allow us to plan for parking and docking and to ensure our event runs smoothly and in a timely fashion.
This event will be different form most Elite Poker Runs in that everything will be a la cart. Run will include driver, boat, slips, Tee Shirt, and Charity Lunch. We will provide details one weekend long events that can be purchased separately as desired. We understand some locals might not be able to make a Friday Dinner or Saturday Dinner might be too long of a day so this way you do not need to register for events you can't attend.
This will be a US Coast Guard Approved Event and PFD’s are required when on plane. Boats that do not follow the Rules and Safety Regulations will be disqualified. NO EXCEPTIONS! All boats participating in this event are required to carry $300,000 or greater in watercraft liability coverage maintained in full force and effect during the term of the event. Boats without insurance will not be able to run. We will refuse ANY boat without INSURANCE PROOF and or PROPER PAPERWORK. This run is an insured event and NO unregistered Crew members will be accepted on boats.

All Tickets are Non-Refundable, boats break, boats sell, weather changes, ect. You will be allowed to transfer your ticket to another boat if needed. There is NO launch ramp at marina so please plan accordingly. Lift off/on service is available for extra charge, please contact the marina if needed. Depending on number of boats Lunch slips may require rafting so bring your fenders to protect your boat and others.

All events: Saturday Morning Coffee, Drivers meeting at Liberty Landing Marina, Saturday Lunch at Blu Pointe, Weekend Slip at Liberty Landing Marina, Lunch Slip at Riverfront Marina (Slips are first come first server for lunch and you will need to raft off so bring your fenders to protect your boat) and Tee Shirt. All events are cash bar and No one can drink during the run.
