We are a little over 20 days away from the 2020 Kuttawa Cannonball Run! As we near our event, our team would like to assure everyone we are following federal and state guidelines. Most importantly, we want to ensure everyone has a safe experience, both on and off the water.
We have improved our preparations, as well as the amenities for this year’s event. ….it was all going as planned (we have a great team!) – then this pandemic hit! Therefore, we have had to regroup and ...consider how to accommodate this ‘new normal’.
That said, we can give no guarantees as to how the event will unfold until the day of, and likely hours preceding, the 2020 Kuttawa Cannonball Run. We are doing our best to be mindful of the guidelines, as well as your expectations for a fun boating event. We believe that both goals can be accomplished – and we also believe your generosity will help charities in need. After the 2019 run, we were able to donate $10,000 to...
- Evansville Rescue Mission (500 meals during Thanksgiving)
- The Lyon Co. High School Robotics Program (Lyon Co. is where we host the event)
- Riley’s Children’s Hospital
- 911 Gives Hope
To improve your confidence, today we implemented a Pre-Registration feature on our Registration Page ( https://kuttawacannonballrun.redpodium.com/kuttawa-cannonba… ). If you have not registered yet, this function will allow you to go ahead and register with your credit card, but not pay until the event starts. We hope this helps to ease any concern. No Play, No Pay! 😊
We appreciate all the support and encouragement we have received the past few years, and most recently the past few weeks - this has been a royal pain from a planning perspective! We will email a (draft) schedule to registered participants in the next couple of weeks.
We will see you on the water soon! 😎

That's great I looked at the LONG term forecast and it only shows rain the next 3 days then all clear!! We were out with a group on Sunday on lake Michigan man there are a lot of boats heading south next week from Chicago .

That's awesome - we've got them coming from all over the country! It's probably going to be a bigger event than we're prepared for. I hope that everyone bears with us and is flexible; we've tried really hard to accommodate the states orders, as well as what each of us expect out of a poker run. Jeff has had conversations with Kuttawa mayor and other officials - seems that we should have no problems.
....other than us possibly not being prepared for a LARGE group of people! lol
It will be a good party nonetheless!
