Good luck with the inspection/purchase ... we have a '99 33zx and love it fwiw. The stringers and transom are supposed to be the Donzi *divyncell* ie no wood. I do think I saw a pic somewhere...

We've had a 33zx with 502 MPIs for a year now ... it's a fantastic boat for us; a good mix of ample cabin room and performance. With black motors, 1/2-3/4 fuel and 4-6 of us onboard we are at 67-68...
