Your knees compensate for vertical loading bout not horizontal.

Your bracket will help a lot but only to top mounting/bolt...

As someone who has replaced more rotted transom and stringers than I care to remember, I will add to the thread.

95% of rotted floors are due to previous owners replacing seats etc, w/o properly...

Plus w/the surface drive you lose some of the props bite for bow lift.
