I trailered my 42' Harley (same as Swamps above) to the San Juan islands every year for over ten years, up until Covid reared it's ugly head.

Crane cost was around 175.00 dollars for round trip....

I have been running double Napa Gold 1515 filters on a set of 509s. Recently pulled engines with close to 800 hours. Bearings were in near new condition. Oil changed at 50 hour intervals.

Not bad!

Best 502 short block?

I had a lower end failure complete with a perforated oil pan. I doubt there is going to much to salvage.
I found 19433158 short block in stock. It's not cheap, but I think that it is the best one...
