Do yourself a favor and pull the intercoolers and gusset them. Also run the zl1 lid if possible. Good for 20 or so hp and intercooler is more efficient. Port them as well. I did mine. Pay close...

three to four inches below is kind of the sweet...

three to four inches below is kind of the sweet spot with SCARAB's. My 34 was at 4 inches I think. Stepped hulls can usually run higher. SCARAB's need bow lift.

The weak link are the gears, with any horsepower above probably 600 or so , the gears just don't seem to last. I just switched to
an SCX after 2 SC's , but I am running about 850 HP and same torque...
