The noise Police don't care for "run it dry", if your cam was 10 or so degrees bigger cut on a 110 LSA I would be checking plugs for water.

Because GM was producing the 496/8100 Vortec and tweaked them for marine use for Mercruiser and Volvo. GM had them as option in HD trucks and some Suburbans from 2001-2007.

4.350" bore x 4.500" stroke. That has to be a 500hp combo (with correct camshaft) without even trying.

The 496’s exhaust is pretty good and lasts a long time. Remove the tubulators and extend the pipes like Ryan showed and they’ll work.
